Sunset at Abraham Lake was one of the most memorable moments so far. Although the bubbles are the stars of the countless photos you've likely seen on Instagram (and where the nickname derives from), I was just as fascinated at the cracks and fissures. As the weather warms up after a cold spell, deep cracks form after the ice quickly freezes again as the temperature drops. Bubble Lake is a definite must-see, especially when the conditions are right.
